Baritone Brian Mulligan Sings the New York Premiere of Gregory Spears's Walden

Gregory Spears's Walden, a new song cycle for baritone and piano, receives its New York premiere on March 13. The performance, to be held at the Baruch Performing Arts Center's Engelman Recital Hall, features baritone Brian Mulligan and pianist Timothy Long.
Walden, set to texts by Henry David Thoreau, was premiered by Mulligan and Long in September 2018 at the Kennedy Center under the auspices of Vocal Arts DC, who commissioned the song cycle.
