New Production of Glück’s <em>Orpheus and Eurydice</em> at the Los Angeles Opera

The Los Angeles Opera presents an exciting new production of Christoph Willibald Glück’s groundbreaking masterpiece Orpheus and Eurydice utilizing critical performing materials from Baerenreiter's acclaimed opera editions.  Directed by the legendary John Neumeier and showcasing the virtuoso dancers of the Joffrey Ballet, James Conlon conducts a cast featuring young opera stars Maxim Mironov as Orpheus, Lisette Oropesa as Eurydice, and Liv Redpath as the God of Love. Performances run from March 10-25 at The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Gluck's Orpheus and Eurydice is a co-production of the Los Angeles Opera with the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Hamburg Ballet.
